3.1 “Tell a Lie, Get a Check” — Dick is faced with finding an owner for the grungy Minuteman Café after Kirk and Cindy unexpectedly leave town.

3.2 “Twenty Year Itch” — 20 years ago, Joanna made a date with a former boyfriend, and now she wants to keep it – which makes Dick a little jealous.

3.3 “A Hunting We Will Go” — Dick, George, Michael, Jim and Chester go out on a hunting trip and then end up stranded in the middle of nowhere.
+

+

3.4 “Miss Stephanie” — Larry misinterprets a comment from Stephanie and falls passionately in love with her.

+

3.5 “But Seriously, Beavers” — The Beaver Lodge puts on a “roast” for George, and Dick participates. Unfortunately, his jokes don’t go over very well with George.

3.6 “Tickets, Please” — Stephanie feels guilty after Dick is arrested and sentenced to community service for not paying parking tickets that, unbeknownst to him, belong to Stephanie. (First appearance of Officer Shifflett.)

3.7 “Poor Reception” — Michael hires Stephanie to be the new receptionist at WPIV, but can’t bring himself to fire her when it becomes clear that she’s not a good fit for the job.

3.8 “The Fan” — Dick is forced to deal with the attentions of an obsessive female fan.

3.9 “Happy Trials to You” — When Dick is accused of plagiarizing one of his how-to books, he goes to court to defend himself.

3.10 “Georgie’s Girl” — George starts to worry when it becomes clear that his girlfriend wants him to marry her.

3.11 “Pillow Fight” — Dick and Joanna clash while trying to collaborate on a how-to book about making pillows.

3.12 “Local Hero” — George is a local celebrity after he saves two boys from drowning.
+

+

3.13 “Dick Gets Larry’s Goat” — Dick faces off against Larry and the Darryls after he calls animal control on their pet goat.

+

3.14 “Once I Had a Secret Love” — Dick and Joanna get into a fight on live television when she guest stars on “Vermont Today”’s Valentine’s Day special.

+

3.15 “Lady in Wading” — Stephanie is torn between staying with Michael and leaving him for a wealthy visiting television executive.

+

3.16 “Look Homeward, Stephanie” — Stephanie takes Michael home for a visit, but he becomes appalled when he sees how her parents have spoiled her.

+

3.17 “My Fair Larry” — Joanna gets in over her head when she tries to makeover the Minuteman Café.

+

3.18 “You’re Nobody ’til Somebody Hires You” — Michael is fired from his role of producer at WPIV, and Dick is hired to replace him.

+

3.19 “Out With the New, Inn With the Old” — George becomes upset with Dick’s decision to renovate the Stratford’s old garage.

3.20 “R.I.P. Off” — Harley is arrested when it’s revealed that his latest job (unbeknownst to him) involves tricking customers into buying grave sites – in a swamp.

+

3.21 “The Prodigal Darryl” — After Larry and the Darryls win a jingle contest, one of the Darryls takes off with the prize money.
+
+
+

3.22 “What Makes Dick Run” — The WPIV crew gets caught up in the annual VITA awards, and Dick decides to do what it takes to win.
